Maybe you’ve noticed that the beloved purple shampoo Silver Maintain Color recently had a change in appearance. You can now find it in the Arganikare Day Therapy range. Even with a new look, the formula is still the same! We also added a purple conditioner to the family.
The benefits of Silver Maintain
The Silver Maintain purple shampoo and conditioner are made for everyone with blonde (golden, ash, pearly, or discolored) or white hair. This unique formula is enriched with aloe vera, vitamin E, organic argan oil, and organic goji berries.
The science behind these products resides in the purple/blue pigments (in opposition to yellow and orange ones), which neutralize undesirable tones; golden, yellow, or coppery. By playing with color complementarity, Silver Maintain products cancel out all undesirable tones that can appear in blonde hair. The purple pigments in the Silver Maintain Color shampoo cancel yellow or golden tones, while the blue/purple pigments in the Silver Maintain Color conditioner cancel out coppery-yellow tones.

How does the pH act?
The Silver Maintain Color shampoo pH is between 4.8 and 5.2. This pH level gently opens your hair cuticle to let in the shampoo.
Be careful with this shampoo and conditioner, as they can turn your hair blue or purple if they sit on your hair for too long (we recommend no more than 3 to 5 minutes).
The Silver Maintain Color conditioner pH is between 3.3 and 3.7. Conditioner is generally more acidic than shampoo, as it helps to lock up the hydration of the hair by closing the cuticle.

Have the active ingredients been replaced or substituted in this new version of Silver Maintain Color available in Arganikare Day Therapy?
No. The active ingredients were not replaced or substituted. But we did add some! Organic argan oil, organic goji berries, vitamin E, and aloe vera in the Silver Maintain Color shampoo, and organic argan oil and organic goji berries in the Silver Maintain Color conditioner. Customize the neutralization
In order to have a controlled, sustained, or complete neutralization, we suggest three product combinations.
- For a controlled neutralization of yellow, golden, or coppery tones, use the Miracle Color shampoo and the Silver Maintain Color conditioner.
- For a sustained neutralization of yellow or golden tones, use the Silver Maintain Color shampoo and the Miracle Color conditioner.
- For a complete neutralization of yellow, golden, or coppery tones, use the Silver Maintain Color shampoo and the Silver Maintain Color conditioner.
Advice for hair extensions
In order to gently neutralize hair extensions, do not apply Silver Maintain Color shampoo or Silver Maintain Color conditioner directly on them. We suggest you dissolve the product before applying it.
- Fill the sink halfway with water
- Take a small amount of Silver Maintain Color shampoo or Silver Maintain Color conditioner in your palm.
- Dip your hair extension in water for a few seconds at a time until you get the neutralization you want.
